European Union (Amendment) Bill. Committee stage tenth day. Motion for an instruction on the Bill that it have power to make provision in the Bill for the holding of a referendum on the UKs continued membership of the European Union. Negatived on division (68 votes to 471). Amendment 286 negatived on division (57 votes to 329). Amendment 47 negatived on division (245 to 305). Amendment 20 negatived on division (240 votes to 307). Clauses 6 and 7 agreed to on division (301 votes to 238).
