Police Grant Report (England and Wales)

The Minister is making a strong case. Is it not important to trust the professionals in the police service? We do not rely on the Labour party’s mooted 10% cut; we trust the professionals. He will know that the terrible Joanna Dennehy murders around Peterborough could not have been solved by the Cambridgeshire constabulary alone, and that it had to work with other constabularies such as Norfolk in

order to attain the critical mass in forensics and other back-up services necessary to solve the crimes. We trust our local professional police officers.
