May I put on record my thanks to the Minister for making it clear that there will be clear words in the Bill that meet the hon. Gentleman’s proposal in amendment 47, and that meet the proposals of the Select Committee on Political and Constitutional Reform? The provisions must be clear in the Bill, and I welcome that the Government have engaged in the process on clause 26. There are 30 or 40 clauses, and I hope that a precedent will be used in relation to other clauses that are subject to equally fierce criticism from the charitable and voluntary sectors.
