Local Government Finance Bill

London Councils describes the existence of the central share beyond the current comprehensive spending review period as"““a cynical attempt by the Government to limit the extent to which local government can benefit financially from the growth it will drive through its economic development activity and engagement with the business community.””" Does my hon. Friend consider that to be a fair assessment of what the Government are doing?
