NHS Reorganisation

Proceeding contribution from Andrew George (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 16 March 2011. It occurred during Opposition day on NHS Reorganisation.
I am afraid that I do not have time. The idea that the Bill will drive integration and social care is more wishful thinking because there will be less coterminosity between commissioning boards and local authorities under the Government's proposals for an increased number of commissioning bodies than we have now. Much rethinking needs to be done, and I hope that Government Front Benchers are listening.
