Scotland Bill

Proceeding contribution from Anas Sarwar (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 27 January 2011. It occurred during Debate on bills on Scotland Bill.
The hon. Gentleman has been very generous in giving way. He says that he will not stand in the way of the Bill, but the amendment clearly states that the SNP"““therefore considers the Bill as a whole to be unacceptable.””" That means that if the amendment is not accepted, he will vote against the Bill and against new powers for the Scottish Parliament. Is that the wording in the amendment wrong, or is it just the wrong politics from the SNP?
