Terrorist Asset-Freezing etc. Bill [HL]

I am delighted to hear that. I apologise for my slight misinterpretation of the noble Lord’s advocacy this evening. I thought that he put that point in to indicate that it might detract from the Bill when, of course, I assumed that he signed the amendment with the wholehearted determination to support it as far as he was able. He certainly largely did so in his contribution this evening. As I indicated, I want to speak only briefly with regard to this issue. We find merits in the amendment, and we hope that the House does too.
