Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill

I will be very happy to write to the right hon. Gentleman about that. The amount is relatively modest, but authority is still required to pay it. I apologise to the House with regard to the second item because I should have given information about the cost. We estimate that the cost of implementing the Dacre report, as proposed in measures to be considered on Report, from the start date—that will be subject to an order in both Houses beforehand, so it could be 2011, 2012 or later—will be £28 million over five years, or in other words about £5.5 million a year. With that, I hope that the money resolution will be widely endorsed by the House. Question put. The House divided: Ayes 331, Noes 161.
