Coroners and Justice Bill

Proceeding contribution from Lord Tunnicliffe (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 21 October 2009. It occurred during Debate on bills on Coroners and Justice Bill.
My Lords, the provisions on coroners, investigation anonymity orders, witness anonymity orders and the treatment of convictions in other EU member states include various references to a service offence. This term is defined by reference to the Armed Forces Act 2006, which repeals the existing service disciplinary Acts. That definition is too narrow, and these technical amendments are principally designed to ensure that it is sufficiently broad for those purposes. I beg to move. Amendment 18 agreed.
