Coroners and Justice Bill

Proceeding contribution from Lord Bach (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 21 October 2009. It occurred during Debate on bills on Coroners and Justice Bill.
We argue that, for natural deaths in custody, there should not necessarily have to be a jury in every case. With deaths in hospital, there might not even be an inquiry, let alone an inquest.
