Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Bill [HL]

I shall have to write to the noble Lord about what stage ITAs are at. I am not sufficiently well sighted on this to know the answer, but I will write to him with pleasure before Report. The transfer of statutory powers will depend on exactly what we are talking about in terms of the transfer of investment or policy levers and so on. This is very much work in progress, so I shall try to write to the noble Lord about that. We may not be able to give a very full answer before Report but I will certainly share our thinking with noble Lords on the sort of powers that might be anticipated.
