I hope the Minister will take this comment in the right spirit. I do not think that the tone of what the noble Baroness, Lady Warsi, said was in any way aggressive. Certainly I made clear that my amendment was probing. I appreciate that the Minister has to respond to the amendments as they are on paper and that we often come across the problem of finding a way to explore something. We all know that we have a great deal of work to get through today and I, for one, do not want to get into a head-to-head position. We are trying to explore the Government’s thinking and, without wishing to be too aggressive in the way I put it, I hope I can make that clear right from the start.
