Marine and Coastal Access Bill [HL]

I will certainly withdraw the amendment. The determination of the Government to ensure consistency is not in doubt from what the Minister says. However, I am still a little unclear about how the legislation will support that. I appreciate that a good deal of debate has gone before this evening’s exchanges that I may be ignoring. I wrote down the Minister’s comment on the list of policy authorities: "““If, as we intend, all four Administrations agree””." I thought I was the Pollyanna around here, but I am clearly in good company. I will read what the Minister has said, to make sure that I understand the process, as distinct from the intent. I beg leave to withdraw Amendment 85AA. Amendment 85AA withdrawn. Amendment 85AB not moved. Clause 42 agreed.
