It has been useful to have that further elaboration, and I thank the noble Baroness, Lady Miller of Chilthorne Domer, for making that clear. Indeed, my amendment does not actually say ““renewable energy””; it talks about: "““the need to maintain a secure and safe supply of energy””,"
which is absolute across the board.
Encouraged by the Minister, I suspect—at least, I hope—that we will come back to this area, because it will tie up with any amendments to Clause 2. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
