Marine and Coastal Access Bill [HL]

I wondered why the Minister was a little surprised when I mentioned at Second Reading that it was my understanding that the Marine Management Organisation was a working title and that the Government were looking to come up with something better. He has since explained what happened with the Minister in another place, Jonathan Shaw. On the amendment, an argument against changing the name of the organisation is that the abbreviation would be ““MA””. We already have an MCA—the Maritime and Coastguard Agency—and to have two marine agencies might be a little confusing.
