NHS (60th Anniversary)

Proceeding contribution from Stephen Hesford (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 24 June 2008. It occurred during Opposition day on NHS (60th Anniversary).
Let me make one further point, although I always enjoy the hon. Gentleman's interventions and I am looking forward to this one. As I was saying, that is why, at the last election, the Tories were still toying with the idea of the patient passport, which would undermine the principle of NHS financing—that it is free at the point of use.
