That raises the question of the Liberal Democrats' proposals for a referendum. Incidentally, if those proposals were applied to Scotland they would require a referendum not on devolution, but on the 1707 treaty of Union. But the question to ask about the common fisheries policy is ““Does the Liberal Democratic party support it, as a whole, or does it not?””
