Employment Bill [HL]

I thank the Minister for that response. I am glad at least that he accepts that it is absolutely necessary that tribunal cases should be heard as quickly as possible, although he does not accept the arrangements suggested in the amendment. We have to give that serious consideration because I believe that there is a problem here. People want their cases to be heard as quickly as possible within a reasonable time and the question is: what is a reasonable time? A given length of time can be reasonable in some cases and not quite so reasonable in others. We need to examine what has been said. I thank the noble Baroness opposite for her contribution. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
