Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill

I did not intend to participate in this debate, but I found the remarks of the noble Lord, Lord Elystan-Morgan, and the noble and learned Baroness, Lady Butler-Sloss, compelling. My experience as a lawyer suggests that the Government ought to think seriously about this situation. I find that it is impossible to support what is apparently on paper at the moment. I hope that my noble friend will say that he will think seriously about this situation.
