The Minister is being extremely generous in taking interventions. To take him back to that very interesting quote from the Prime Minister, I shall give him another:"““The manifesto is what we put to the public. We’ve got to honour that manifesto. That is an issue of trust for me with the electorate.””"
That is from 24 June. I have been studying the differences between the constitution and the reform treaty. At some point in our debate, should not the Government put the case for not holding a referendum to the House of Commons?
