Climate Change Bill [HL]

I knew that we had taken our time for a purpose, which was to give the Minister a chance to prepare his response on this matter. I am pleased with the debate. We have moved the subject on. The case made by the noble Baroness, Lady Young, for independent scrutiny seems to have been accepted by the Minister as being a possible way forward. We look forward to Report and to hearing more about the Government’s proposals on adaptation in this area. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
