Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill

I note that Labour Back Benchers are giving the Justice Secretary no protection at all today. He may need greater assistance from them. Parliament must send a clear and unambiguous signal on these matters, and that is why we have suggested that the wording of the law should be changed so that a degree of force would be permitted, provided it was not ““grossly disproportionate””.
