The deal is as set out by my right hon. Friend the then Chancellor, which is that the UK abatement will be disapplied by a maximum of €10.5 billion. There has been no change to that. I set out the estimated extra costs of the December 2005 agreement in an answer to a question from my right hon. Friend the Member for West Dunbartonshire (John McFall) on 20 December 2005.
