Finance Bill

I am grateful to the Financial Secretary for that information. I am not saying that all these questions are incapable of resolution; plainly they are, or at least might be, capable of resolution. None the less, the terms of the new clause, on which the House will presumably be asked to vote, are, like last year’s proposals, not a workable solution. I want to explain why.
