The hon. Gentleman, like me, served on the Joint Committee that looked at the conventions of the UK Parliament. Does he still agree with paragraph 61 of the report, which said that"““should any firm proposals come forward to change the composition of the House of Lords, the conventions between the Houses would have to be examined again.””?"
