Energy Saving (Daylight) Bill

Proceeding contribution from Rosemary McKenna (Labour) in the House of Commons on Friday, 26 January 2007. It occurred during Debate on bills on Energy Saving (Daylight) Bill.
I refute that categorically. I have told the House before that I spend a lot of time in England. I have two English daughters-in-law and three English grandchildren who live in the south-east and south-west, where the Bill would have an impact. Not one of them has raised that issue with me. I live in London for half of the week, as all Members of Parliament do, so it is a spurious argument to claim that this is a purely Scottish issue.
