Legislative and Regulatory Reform Bill

I am grateful to the Minister. Hitherto in these arguments the Government have discarded arguments about reasonableness because reasonableness is difficult to define. That has been the Government’s stance. Why should we not apply the same yardstick to the issue before us? Why should it be left to the Government and the Law Commission to decide what is controversial and what is not?
