Does my hon. Friend agree that there is an absolute bottom line that we need to achieve from this debate? At this very moment some farmers are receiving demands, not least from their landlords. If they do not pay their rent, they will be given a notice to quit and they will lose their entire livelihood. Will she press the Minister to ask the European Community to release some money immediately so that, in such cases of real hardship, payments can be made as soon as possible?
