: I endorse what my hon. Friend said. To my knowledge, not one farmer in the Vale of York or North Yorkshire has been paid. I have proposals to put to the Minister to correct that situation. The Minister must agree that there has been a catalogue of errors and misunderstandings leading up to the present fiasco of farm payments, ranging from applications being lost to maps being woefully mismanaged by officials. My hon. Friend alluded to the fact that that has resulted in most farmers in England simply not being paid, whereas in Scotland and Wales farmers have been paid in full. Our farmers have been paid not a penny piece.
