It was interesting to read the figures of the various sectors. In each case, the number anticipated fell quite considerably—rather dramatically in one or two instances. Has anyone drawn any conclusions from that? Have any studies taken place to find out why those initial calculations were wrong, or were they correct but the market suddenly contracted in the way that my noble friend Lord Eccles predicated earlier? It would be helpful to know whether the Government have done any work trying to calculate why the number has dropped. That might give us some insight into what may happen in the claims management sector.
