My Lords, I thank my noble friend Lord Freeman for his support and the Minister for his response, even if it does not actually hit all the points I raised. No doubt he will be able to read what I said in Hansard. As my noble friend Lady Miller pointed out, while we do not propose to harass the Minister this evening, in view of the absence of so many of his noble friends on business vital to the future of the Labour Party, if not the country, we reserve our right to bring the amendment back at Third Reading. I beg leave to withdraw it.
