Work and Families Bill

May I begin by correcting what the Secretary of State has just said about the attitude of my right hon. Friend the Member for Witney (Mr. Cameron) ? My right hon. Friend supports the Bill, as do I. If he did not support its provisions, I would now be urging the House to vote against the Bill on Third Reading. I am not doing so. I am supporting the Bill, as I have done throughout its passage which, incidentally, began before my right hon. Friend became leader of the Conservative party—a whole day before. The right hon. Gentleman may be right in his recollection and assessment of what the Conservative party may have said in the dim and distant past. I am interested in the future.
