No, I believe that there should be some presumption of contact. We need to ensure that the assessments are clear. I believe that some children do well if they know both parents—though not all children. Some children benefit from not seeing either parent, as we know, and some children get adopted for those very good reasons. Most children benefit from contact. I have said several times over that I believe in that, but I am very anxious about anything that gives the impression of overriding the paramountcy of the child, which is why I have continually asked for an explanation of what reasonableness would do. I am not a lawyer, and I am trying to understand the effect.
