I am suggesting a presumption of reasonable contact. The law at the moment provides for a presumption of contact. It states that there must be some contact, even if it is only a postcard. I suggest that the relationship has to be meaningful and that a good reason must be produced—whether it is violence in the family or whatever it may be—to depart from that presumption.
