Equality Bill [HL]

I thank the Minister for that response and will of course withdraw Amendment No. 185. As for Amendment No. 190, I listened very carefully to what she had to say; of course, I shall not press it this evening. I noted that she emphasised that it was the duty of local authorities to treat parents equally, in complete equality, whether the parents are religious or non-religious. That is important. I shall read her remarks in Hansard and will not press the amendment this evening. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
