Equality Bill [HL]

I am grateful to the Minister for her very thoughtful response to my amendment and to the noble Lord, Lord Lester, for his intervention. I make no apologies for putting down the amendment. I recognise that many others may wish to join the queue of those who want to be mentioned in the list on this part of the Bill. I hope that some of those ““play”” groups will make representations after this debate. Before Report stage, perhaps the Minister will think of a way in which to appease their problems. I certainly recognise the strength of the arguments against the amendment. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 48 agreed to. Clause 49 agreed to.
