Question

To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the Written Answer by Earl Howe on 3 October (WA 105), whether the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority can confirm that research licence R0122 did not involve any human embryos.

Answer

The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority has confirmed that research licence R0122 permitted the use of human embryos for research purposes.
