51A: After Clause 19, insert the following new Clause—

“Report on retained EU law

(1) Within 6 months from the day that this Act is passed, and every 12 months thereafter, the Secretary of State must prepare a report setting out the following in respect of each item of EU derived subordinate legislation or retained direct EU legislation which has not been revoked by section 1—

(a) whether and to what extent it remains in force, including the effect of any modifications made whether under powers in this Act or otherwise;

(b) details of any plans to modify, repeal or replace it.

(2) Any reports prepared under subsection (1) must be laid before each House of Parliament.

(3) This section ceases to have effect after a report showing that all items of EU derived subordinate legislation or retained direct EU legislation have been modified, repealed or replaced.”
