I did not say that the councils do not have any concerns or interest in the role of the PCC. Of course, they do, as we have heard,
with community safety committees et cetera. What I said was that the councils do not deliver any of the services required by the PCC. That is the job of the local police. Therefore, there is no crossover in that way.
