This amendment is a drafting change.

209: Clause 129, page 133, line 12, at end insert—

“(2A) Regulations may make provision about—

(a) applications for membership of a scheme;

(b) renewal of membership at prescribed intervals;

(c) termination of a person’s membership;

(d) the suspension of a person from membership.”

Member’s explanatory statement

This amendment and the next amendment to this Clause in the name of the Minister provide that provision about procedure relating to a scheme is to be set out in regulations rather than in a document published by the Secretary of State.
