Obviously it is difficult to predict what would happen on the day. In such circumstances, Members can all agree that they wish to
allow enough time for Report stage by means of shorter speeches or fewer votes. On the other hand, I understand that it is also possible for the business managers and the Government to table a Business of the House motion that could perhaps give specific protected time to a Report stage, but that would be a decision for the Government.
