Hunting

Proceeding contribution from Rachael Maskell (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 25 April 2022. It occurred during e-petition debate on Hunting.

I want to draw attention to today’s ruling, because it is a landmark one: I understand that this is the first time a conviction has happened under the Dangerous Dogs Act where a dog has attacked

another animal. Does the Minister agree that it is important for the breadth of the Act to be brought into full force when such instances as the taking of Mini’s little life occur?
