Budget Resolutions

Proceeding contribution from Baroness May of Maidenhead (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 11 March 2020. It occurred during Budget debate on Budget Resolutions.

Obviously, the hon. Gentleman is absolutely right that commitments were made in that agreement. I am sure the Government will look very closely at how

they can deliver on those commitments. The figures that have been announced in the Budget are the Barnett consequentials of the decisions that the Government have taken, but I am sure that he will have an opportunity to raise that matter further. None the less, the Government will be looking closely at how to deliver on those commitments, because they were made in good faith and were about bringing the Northern Ireland Executive together.
