Debate on the Address

Proceeding contribution from Boris Johnson (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 14 October 2019. It occurred during Queen's speech debate on Debate on the Address.

I can certainly give the Father of the House exactly that assurance.

The objective of Brexit is not just to give business the certainty of concluding this whole affair; it is, of course, to get on and take back control of our borders, our

money and our laws to enable us to champion our food and farming sector as we would desire and to alleviate, perhaps, the unnecessary burdens of bureaucracy that farming sometimes faces in this country. Let’s take back control of our fisheries, so that Scotland can make proper use of her incredible marine wealth.
