Catholic Sixth-form Colleges

Proceeding contribution from Jim Cunningham (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 5 March 2019. It occurred during Debate on Catholic Sixth-form Colleges.

I congratulate my hon. Friend on securing the debate. In relation to capital, particularly for colleges and their funding, sometimes Catholic schools have had to amalgamate to release property they can sell to raise

capital funding. I have come across cases such as that—I do not know whether he has or not—because of the lack of capital funding.
