I also remind hon. Members that childcare providers do not have to offer the free 30 hours —that is entirely up to them—although, since the roll-out of 30 hours of free childcare, we have seen a sizeable
majority of providers increasing the number of free hours available to parents, with no evidence of an impact on their funding.
