Housing and Social Security

Proceeding contribution from Karen Buck (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 22 June 2017. It occurred during Queen's speech debate on Housing and Social Security.

On the point about building more homes in the context of what the Secretary of State has said about social housing, does he accept and will he now confirm that, since 2010,

the Government’s record on building social homes has been deplorable, with, in fact, a 97% fall in social housing starts?
