Budget Resolutions

Proceeding contribution from David Rutley (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 13 March 2017. It occurred during Budget debate on Budget Resolutions.

The hon. Lady is making her points from the Opposition Front Bench, but does she not agree that the Government have made important strides on freedom of religion or belief? They held a conference a few months ago to help to promote those issues, not just in the Commonwealth but globally. As a member of the all-party parliamentary group on international freedom of religion or belief, I really appreciate that sort of action. It is very important, and it should not be downgraded by such talk from the Opposition Benches.
