Strathclyde Review

Proceeding contribution from Lord Grayling (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 17 December 2015. It occurred during Ministerial statement on Strathclyde Review.

I remind the hon. Gentleman that the changes that he is referring to were voted on and passed five times by this elected House. There comes a point

where the elected House needs to be able to assert its will. Lord Strathclyde has recommended a number of options that enable it to do that.
