The shadow Foreign Secretary knows that the United States has been engaged in airstrikes—there have been about 130—and that the Kurds have warmly welcomed the contribution that those airstrikes have made to blunting the advance of ISIL. To return to the question that my hon. Friend the Member for North Wiltshire (Mr Gray) asked, if it were put to the right hon. Gentleman today that the United Kingdom should join the United States in those airstrikes, would the Labour party support that?
